Highlights…
Kakadu (Mamukala in the photo) – it was hot, dry and signs of bush fires everywhere, but also green. Plants and animals thrive in this woodland savanna and wetland environment
Great Barrier Reef (Michaelmas Cay in the photo) – we found coral reef in good shape: alive, colorful with good wildlife diversity, perhaps there is hope for the reef to fully recover
Victoria (Melba Gully in the photo) – landscape diversity is striking: rich tropical rainforest and rocky coastline, plus eukalyptus forest full of koalas
