We made two day-tripsĀ by train fromĀ ā Glasgow. Our itinerary covered the most important sites, we walked everywhere.
Day 1: Waverley Station ā Market St ā Castle ā High St ā St Giles’ Cathedral ā George IV Bridge ā Greyfriars Kirkyard ā Candlemaker Row ā Victoria St ā High St ā Waverley Station.
Day 2: Waverley Station ā Canongate ā Scottish Parliament ā Palace of Holyroodhouse ā Arthurās Seat ā Scottish Parliament ā Canongate Kir ā Cockburn St ā Waverley Bridge ā Princes St ā Scott Monument ā Scottish National Gallery ā almoral Hotel ā Waverley Station.
In perfect weather on Saturday afternoon atmosphere on Arthur’s Seat trail was festive and panoramic view of the city was really nice. So was the view of the old town from Princes St (Scott Monument).
